Mina Choi, our church organist, is the director of the Youth Choir and the Festival Ringers. Mina is currently working at La Salle University as the Campus Minister/Liturgical Music Director while finishing her doctoral study in Organ and Harpsichord at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Raised in Dallas, Mina has earned a bachelor's degree, two master's degree and various research opportunities from prestigious institutions worldwide: Eastman School of Music, Royal College of Music (RCM) in London, Yale University, Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart in Germany, Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and Cornell University. Additionally, she has received numerous awards and scholarships such as the RCM Drake Award, Hugh Giles Prize from the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, First Prize Winner of Max Reger Orgel Concours Organ Competition in Netherlands, and Third Prize Winner of Franz Schmidt International Organ Competition in Austria. Most recently, Mina finished her Master of Divinity at the Princeton Theological Seminary.
